Welcome to the website of the Earls Colne Women's Institute!
We're Back! Meetings, coffee mornings and groups have now resumed!
Although Earls Colne had previously supported two WIs - an afternoon and an evening group - membership had dwindled over time and they sadly closed.
However in 2013 more than 80 women got together in the village hall to express an interest in starting up a WI in the village again. More than 60 came to our inaugural meeting and in the last two years we've gone from strength to strength.
We have a varied programme of speakers at our monthly meetings and a number of special interest groups (see our Groups page.) Not to mention social events and trips out and about. We're sure you'll find something to interest you. Please come along and join us - you'll be sure of a warm welcome.
We meet on the third Monday of every month, at 7.15 for 7.30pm start, at the Earls Colne Constitutional Club in York Road, Earls Colne. We also hold a Coffee Morning on the first Friday of every month at the Con Club, from 10am - 11.30am. Everyone (and their friends) welcome!
